The mission of the Department of Educational Foundations and Leadership is to prepare and develop educational leaders and scholars to be agents of transformation on all levels of educational systems. A learning paradigm informs our graduate programs, which are student-centered, inquiry-based, and integrated in terms of theory and practice. This approach is grounded in the philosophy of The Judith Herb College of Education, “Individuals at the center of their own learning in a rich intellectual environment characterized by choice.”
