Program 60 -- Special Program for Senior Citizens
The University of Toledo is strongly committed to providing access to educational opportunities for all community members. We are proud to offer Program 60, which provides access to learning experiences at The University of Toledo.Smiling woman

Individuals may engage in serious academic study or attend courses for general interest. This program provides educational experiences at reduced rates to individuals 60 years of age or older who have resided in Ohio for the past year. Enrollment is limited to space availability which is determined on the last day of the regular registration period.

    Credit Programs and Courses

UT will waive tuition costs for seniors who wish to audit (register and attend, but not earn credit) college courses. Residents of Ohio who are 60 years of age or older may audit credit courses on a space-available basis. Students must apply for admission and register for courses through UT Learning Collaborative - gateway Programs. A Program 60 participant who wishes to earn college credit for UT courses must pay regular tuition and fees, unless the family income is less than 200% of the federal poverty guidelines and the participant has applied for federal financial aid (www.fafsa.ed.gov). All Program 60 participants are responsible for the cost of textbooks, lab fees, technology fees, facility fees and parking.
